In 7th-8th grade I used to get bullied a little bit. I myself wasn't a bully, but I got into a lot of disputes with people. I'm now 19 about to turn 20, I've been out of school for almost 2 years now, and sometimes I wish I could say sorry to some of the people from high school. I don't think the people who were mean to me would say the same though.

teen violence affected me, when i was only 12 years old i was verbally abused by my father every single day and since my fathewrs mother raised me since i was three i was left aloine many nights while my grandmother was out gambleing in a bingo hall he wolud'nt care witch one of my friends or cousins were around he would jus attack and i knew i couldnt say or do anything to make him jus stop and shut up so since my father said hurtful things to me his little girl i really had no reemorse telling anyone how i thought of them and when or where i thought i would say mostly mean and hateful things i would even use some of the names i heard my father say to me. will i was totaly unaware of behavior so my teacher would call home almost evryday untill my grandmother sought to me being talked to by a councilor i calmed down after that and i stil do keep all my negative thoughts to myself well now im 18, I ran into an old friend at our nail salon and we were jus talking about old tymes and thats when it struck me she said it " Bre you where so mean in elemantry school,i scribbled your face out the year book and put mean by it ". lol yes that was the first time that i actually heard that from a peer and it mad me feel awful even though im glad were over them years and can laugh about it now it hurts to know that i could of been the cause an innocent persons death. and now that im older and wiser i cn see that i broke the cycle of a horrible trait i was a victim of bullying and i also played the role of a bully ,bullying is not cool!!!

i have been affected by bullying big time well im in 8th grade and in the 7th grade i had got some jeans on sale they were to kute but i bought 2 pairs and i ware other jeans i rarely wore them but when i did people would be like didnt you where them yesterday i would say no and tell em what i wore cz my style is all the same and everything but 1 day i got on the bus i sat in the back and this girl had thrown washer detergent at me and said here wash your clothes i moved to the front of the buss and told her i take a shower and i have clothes they where like my fav pair of jeans i mean every1 has a fave pair of jeans buit my 7th grade year was the worst because this continued untill the end of the year and it was only 1 month after school started when the bullying started 1 time i had prayyed 2 die but i couldnt even get the nerv to kill myself it never happend and i think it was because it wasnt my time yet and i also didnt want them to get the satisfaction of that but all the time i would go home every day and cry and listen to music and stuff all drama al the time at my school with guys and girls and how im a *** or what ever and i dont act like a *** or anything i would cry i would stayin tide at recess because would hate goin to recess i couldnt stand the laughter i would cry it would follow me all the way to fb i got soooo scared to go to school because i didnt no what was gonna happen the next day and it never ended i was allways scared to get on the bus but then the summer everything calmed down but bye the time summer was over it was time to go back to school it was still a little drama but i stood up and told them stop picking on me im not dirty im not nasty i am clean i am dressed i am proud to be here and if your gonna pick on me be go ahead but then that just make you nasty icky gross all the things you where calling me so i wont let you get the satisfaction on calling me any of these things if you follow under them 2 and they stopped i was so happy because i was strong because i went through it alone and up to this day im very paranoid about how i fell and everything but singing 4 me was a break through now when i get sad i have something i wanna do and that is a great way to get things off your mind and now i wanna be a singer know think people be for you guys say something about someone because it hurts ily guys thank you

I live in Northwest Indiana. Cyber bullying causes a lot of drama at my school. Students make impostor facebook pages and post rumors/ dirty secrets about people. They don't bother me that much but I know situations like this can become dangerous. It's really pitiful because these cowards don't even have the courage to show their faces. Of course our principles can spend the suspects but by the time that happens at least 12 people have already read the negative post. Everyone If you see stuff like this report it. Yeah we hear stories here and there about teens committing suicide from cyber bullying but there is actually more cases that we haven't heard about. Those people who talk about others are insecure anyway. WE MOST STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS! We are only degraded ourselves as a people. People have called me every name in the book. I thank the Lord that my family tought me how to brush off the haters and I'm a strong individual. But others can't take this!

I live in California in the valley, and I have seen some pretty crazy bullying. Most of the people here are very self-preserved and closeted. I'm one of the few people who try to be themselves, and I get picked on and bullied by being called gay or other similar names. I felt so alone like I didn't belong. I also used to have really bad acne, and that just gave the bullies even more reason to pick on me. I have never been confident in my looks due to this. It just hurt so bad, I hated and tried to avoid looking at my reflection in the mirror. When I did, I would have a nervous breakdown and cry. It got to the point to where everything people at school were saying was sinking into my brain, and after hearing it a certain amount of times, I started to believe it. I started to hate myself and the way I looked and was. I wished God had given me clearer skin and a more masculine voice. I never told any of my family I just hid the pain. Although it might not seem like a big deal, growing up with those kind of side effects and bullying scarred me. I still don't have much confidence in my looks, and as I got older it became harder to struggle with my sexuality. I was afraid of what people would think of me and I kept it a secret although people still picked on me for it. I know many people who have been kicked out of their houses and abandoned by their families just because of their orientation. It's sad how families don't understand what we go through and many others. A few years ago, a local kid was jumped and beaten to death because of his orientation. We had a day of silence at school, somewhat of a protest. I'm now dedicated to helping those with the same problems I had and am studying Human Services.

yes teen violence affected me I been called a tease and i been abused by guys in school I have alot of friends in gangs and me seeing people get hurt makes me want to help others from not getting bullied it really touch me I have told alot of friendz of mines is not worth to be in a gang to hurt others and I use to be in a gang but I NEVER hurt nobody cuz its not me im just a nice person i realize that gangs are just stupid and u only getting yourself and others in danger plz save others by saying no TO gangs

yeah i had been bullied before than they had stop until i had told (i was in the 1st grade when i got bullied). i know some people from my old school that where in a gang. it was alot a people at my school. iam trying to stay away from the gang members because they killing people in my area

That show they did on Teen Violence was absolutely heart-breaking! Nobody is this universe deserve to DIE, but when it happens because it will, they should die on PEACEFUL terms not TRAGEDY! Teen Violence is NOT the answer! I have been fortunate enough not to lose somebody to Teen Violence but I do know people who have suffered that terrible fate and I can't believe that we have people out there so cruel that enjoy seeing people in pain! well i am not in a gang but i have lost somebody in i had a cousin who was like a bother and he was in volla in a gang he was so deep in it that they killed him at the age of 25 yearsold.and where i live at ts nothing but gang volicen here .and if you have kids or brothers or sisters please need to talk them an raised them right .

i dont agree with violence at all i have i friend who wanted to join and gang but i was able to talk him out of it. My Best Friend son was caught in the cross fire of a gang shoot out he was nothing but 4, when it happen he died in her arms. what the point of gangs anyway?

I don't agree with teen violence, It effects me because I can't show others that I'm a gentlemen without my race going out on the streets gang banging and make us as African Americans look bad. I am one man who is trying to change that stereotype of black man, we all aren't violent we all don't curse and we all don't play basketball. I am a man who wants to make change in our community and we need to put a stop to all the violence because it makes know sense in fighting people, Its not going to solve anything. Everything is getting out of hand with my generation, we do what ever we want and really don't get any consequences or discipline afterward. We as a community as one body need to enforce discipline on everyone, maybe violence drugs and drinking may decrease. Only we can find out if we start now and apply it.
