Shortly after the release of Lil Flip’s “Certified,” the Texas rapper is returning with a solo album that will be released next month. Entitled “Respect Me,” Flip’s upcoming album will include 15 tracks and is produced by J Silva, who has worked with the likes of Keyshia Cole and Lil Wayne.
"The thing about this album is that it's so reflective of me, my music, life and lifestyle," Lil Flip said in a statement. "Trust me; everything I rap about is based on truth. So when I rhyme dirty style about the Bentleys, the clubs, the platinum, the girls, my life's lessons or whatever, it's not bragging, it's just fact."
The album, which will be distributed by E1 Entertainment, has been described as a combination of street anthems and top-of-the-line production.
“Respect Me” will be released online and in stores on September 29.
Since his debut album, “The Leprechaun,” Lil Flip has released several projects including “U Gotta Feel Me” and “I Need Mine.” Aside from his studio albums, Flip has also released numerous mixtapes and has even attempted to create his own reality show called, “The American Rapper.”
